Welcome 
Greetings Parents and Families, I am so happy and excited to extend a warm welcome to you and your children to the upper elementary community at Great Work Montessori School for the 2020/2021 school year! We have been working extremely hard to ensure that, despite the unique challenges that face our school and the community as a whole this year, your child will have a great many opportunities to explore who they are, their interests, experiences, personalities, cultural backgrounds, values and dreams for the future, as well as continue to develop academically in my classroom, where I promise to have high expectations and provide a high level of support. I am very passionate about Project/Problem Based Learning, and we will spend a lot of time this year using our passions and strengths to solve real-world problems and have a positive impact on ourselves and our communities. As parents, you and I will be collaborators in your child’s education. I will be providing regular updates about what is happening in the classroom and we will have opportunities to communicate throughout the school year. Please take a few minutes before orientation to review the attached classroom information sheet as well as the list of school supplies we are suggesting for this school year.
